Hi there,
By day I’m a comparative nutritionist, committed to providing wildlife nutrition answers impacting on species conservation.
Outside working hours I like landscapes, cityscapes, seascapes and vistas of all descriptions and love travelling to find them, not least for the mini-adventures and folks met on the way. When I remember, I try to take photographs. I’m curious. I thrive on problem-solving and have a passion for developing people, helping them achieve personal and professional growth. I am a catalyst for cohesion. I’m a wee bit techie, a self-confessed girl geek. I’m also prone to dancing at the slightest provocation.
Found me through an interest in Homeward Bound? Subscribe by email or follow me on twitter and I’ll keep you up to date on preparations for this exciting adventure and personal challenge.
Homeward Bound is an inspiring leadership and strategic initiative teamed with a science education program on climate, biological and earth system research, set against the back drop of Antarctica, for 78 women scientists from around the globe and I’ve secured a place on board in December 2016!
I’ll be writing about my experience as ‘Fidge in the Fridge’ and sharing thoughts on women in science, leadership and related topics along the way.
